You may have received messages from Google about new requirements that need to be fulfilled:
"Your app is affected by changes to Google Play Billing Library requirements
Your app, '[X]', uses a version of Google Play Billing Library that will be deprecated soon. From Aug 31, 2024, all apps must use version 6.0.1 or later.
Update to a newer version by this date to prevent your updates from being rejected."
"Update your target API level by 31 August 2024 to release updates to your apps
To provide users with a safe and secure experience, Google Play requires all apps to meet target API level requirements
From 31 Aug 2024, if your target API level is not within one year of the latest Android release, you won't be able to update your app."
Both messages refer to submits of apps, not versions that are already available in Play Store. This means that it will not affect your live app.
We have updated our generic code so it fulfills these conditions, so any builds that are submitted for review will live up to the requirements.
You can therefore safely ignore the warnings.
