iOS 13.2 release - issue with Article view detected

2020-01-17 15:03:46 UTC

Following the release of Apple’s new operating system, iOS 13.2 , we’ve detected an issue that requires an update of your iOS app(s).

The issue causes the Article View to show an empty screen meaning that the users will only be able to read the newspaper in the replica edition. This is a critical malfunction, and we have it as our highest priority to solve this issue as quickly as possible.

We already have a fix ready and expect to have completed implementation, test and submit of all 400 iOS apps by November 8th 2019

Both the update and resubmit is covered by the forward compatibility and will therefore be completely free of charge. In fact, we will take care of everything, and you will receive an email as soon as the issue has been resolved.

Your Visiolink contact will reach out if you do not have forward compability in your contract.
