Improvements & Changes
- Subarticles relating to a main article - such as an info box - are now part of the main article and do not have separate entries anymore.
- When sharing via e-mail, the popup will now display a message when e-mail is successfully sent. This prevents sending multiple mails.
- It is now possible to insert a custom fav icon. Fav icons are the small icons displaying in the browser tab in the top of the screen. Must be delivered in a 32x32 px resolution.
- Zoom has been improved and works smoother. The reader can now zoom in five zoom levels and use new navigation possibilities. Please see our FAQ for details.
- Support for opening links in the same window. Per default links will open in a new window, but now you can set them to open in the same window.
- The Cover Calendar (calendar displaying front pages instead of dates) now has an option to show the newest publication at the top. Default is oldest at the top (which means that the reader will see the first publication of the selected month at the top)
- Demo Pages: It is now possible to show a number of pages as a demo for potential subscribers. Once set up, you can use the ordinary link to any issue and add '/demo' to it. By distributing this link, anyone opening it will be able to read a number of pages (this number is configurable - we recommend three) before they are met with a pop up which prompts to go to your login/subscriber site. You can use Visiolink's default pop up or create your own.
