At Visiolink we have defined 12 standard events that is key data for your e-paper application. These standard events are custom event that Visiolink have set up and sends to Google Analytics 4. You will receive the same data from Visiolink in GA4 as in GA3. However, the structure and naming are different. This article will go through each of Visiolink's standard events and which additional parameters that follow each event in GA4.
The structure in GA4 consist of event name, parameters, and user properties. The event name is the naming of each of Visiolink's 12 standard events. Parameters and user properties is additional information that follows the event name. The difference between parameters and user properties is that parameters can change values throughout a session where user properties would stay the same and is the same across all events in a session.
